The reasons for needing a property valuation range from straightforward sale or purchase to remortgaging & refinancing, probate or marital dissolution and the dividing of assets. We also provide valuations for ‘staircasing’ which applies to Shared Ownership and is the process of the homeowner purchasing a greater number of shares in the property.

A valuation should not be confused with a survey which is a much more in depth appraisal. The valuation inspection itself can be relatively brief and is focussed only on those matters that affect the value of the property in question.
